Casa CDB

Designed in the 1990s in a prestigious residential area near Catania, at Casa CDB we aimed to transform the interior spaces and the exterior maintaining some of the original features. The interior spaces unfold around the staircase, the key element in structuring the visual perception on every level.

This was highlighted and enhanced by the use of marble-effect stoneware combined with large cement-effect slabs that characterize the floors throughout the home. The furnishings combine iconic pieces with custom-designed furnishings that integrate with the partitions, dividing the space, creating storage units, bookcases, and utility rooms.

Particular attention was paid to the indoor-outdoor relationship and the garden, which was enhanced with a swimming pool and reorganized with careful attention to the balance between soft and hard landscape, planting, and lighting.
